The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abubakari Bawa Abdulai, has paid a courtesy call on the Yoo-Na, Paramount Chief of the Savelugu Traditional Area, as part of his ongoing stakeholder engagement.
Accompanied by some directors of the hospital, Dr. Bawa Abdulai used the visit to express his profound gratitude to the Yoo-Na for his continuous support to the hospital over the years. He highlighted some of the strategic steps the hospital has recently taken to address longstanding challenges affecting service delivery and operations.
Dr. Bawa Abdulai emphasized the hospital’s renewed commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the country, noting that engaging traditional authorities like the Yoo-Na was crucial in fostering cooperation and building trust with the communities the hospital serves.
In his remarks, the Yoo-Na commended the CEO and his team for the visit and encouraged them to prioritize teamwork in their efforts to transform the hospital. He assured Dr. Bawa Abdulai of his full support and pledged to work closely with the hospital to achieve meaningful and lasting change.
