The Chief Executive Officer of Tamale Teaching Hospital, Dr. (Med.) Abubakari Bawah Abdulai, has commended the Ghana Medical Trust Fund for prioritising the medical equipment needs of the facility.
His remarks followed a joint assessment conducted by the GMTF alongside Project Cure, a non-governmental organization. The team reviewed available diagnostic and theatre equipment and identified critical gaps requiring urgent support.
Dr. Bawah Abdulai expressed appreciation to the GMTF and the government for their commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery at the hospital. He further appealed to Project Cure for continued collaboration and appealed for sustained assistance, noting that enhanced equipment capacity would significantly improve patient care and help save lives across northern Ghana.
