The Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) made a remarkable debut at the 2026 Diamond FM Corporate Arena, surprising organisers and competing teams with an impressive haul of trophies and awards.
TTH emerged as champions in the football competition after defeating GOIL PLC in the final. The hospital side had earlier overcome Ghana Water Company in the quarter-finals before edging past Bayport in the semi-finals to book a place in the championship match.
Beyond football success, TTH also excelled in other disciplines, winning the Men’s Table Tennis, Women’s Volleyball, and Women’s Sack Race events.
The team’s vibrant spirit and energetic display of jama throughout the competition earned team TTH the special recognition of Most Fun Organisation, adding another highlight to an already successful outing.
Team coordinators and members expressed gratitude to the management of Tamale Teaching Hospital for supporting their participation in the games. They noted that such events help boost staff morale, promote teamwork, and enhance the hospital’s visibility on various platforms.
The outstanding performance marks a memorable first appearance for TTH at the Diamond FM Corporate Arena and underscores the importance of sports and recreation in fostering unity and wellness among healthcare professionals.
