The Central Sterilisation Service Department (CSSD) organised a memorable send-off ceremony in honour of Madam Juliana A. Adagara, former Deputy Director of Nursing Services (DDNS) and head of the unit, following her retirement from active service.
The event brought together management and staff to celebrate Madam Juliana's remarkable career, recognising her unwavering dedication, selfless leadership, and immense contributions to the growth and development of the unit. Staff paid glowing tributes to her, describing her as an exceptional leader whose commitment, professionalism, and mentorship positively impacted both the unit and the institution.
Deputy Director, Administration, Mr. Iddrisu A. Tanko, eulogised Madam Juliana for her exemplary service, inspiration, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment throughout her career. He noted that her rare qualities of humility, integrity, and dedication distinguished her as an outstanding leader who deserved to be celebrated for her invaluable contributions.
In her response, Madam Juliana expressed profound gratitude to the Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings throughout her years of service. She also thanked management for the continuous support extended to the CSSD and expressed heartfelt appreciation to the staff for their cooperation, teamwork, and unwavering commitment, which contributed significantly to the unit's success during her tenure.
The ceremony concluded with presentations, goodwill messages, and warm wishes from colleagues, who celebrated Madam Juliana's lasting legacy and wished her good health, fulfilment, and success in her retirement.
