Project HOPE has donated essential medical equipment to Tamale Teaching Hospital to support healthcare delivery at the facility. The donated items included nebulisers, a vital signs monitor trolley, urine balloon tamponade devices, penguin newborn suction equipment, non-rebreather masks for paediatric care, paediatric laryngoscopes, and vital signs monitors with paediatric probes.
Receiving the equipment on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Emmanuel S. K. Donko expressed appreciation to Project HOPE for its continued support. He noted that the equipment would help improve patient care and assured that the items would be used responsibly and effectively. The medical supplies are funded by the Government of the United States of America.
