Management has received the Zosimli Naa of Dagbon, Her Royal Highness Naa Ife Bell Tigpaya, on a working visit. The visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and improving healthcare delivery.
Welcoming the delegation on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Medical Affairs, Prof. Alhassan Abdul-Mumin, expressed appreciation to Her Royal Highness for taking the time to engage with the hospital. He noted that such visits play a vital role in fostering partnerships that enhance patient care and institutional development.
Discussions at the meeting focused on reviewing existing areas of collaboration while identifying new opportunities for partnership. Key among the priorities highlighted were maternal health and mental health – two critical areas requiring sustained attention and support.
Her Royal Highness and her team toured the Paediatric Ward of the facility and engaged staff and management in constructive dialogue on how best to improve outcomes in these sectors. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the hospital’s efforts and pledged to help facilitate connections with other partners to mobilise additional resources.
The visit is expected to further deepen cooperation between traditional leadership and the healthcare sector, ultimately contributing to improved health services for communities across the region.
